Swiss America - Schweizerisches Amerika - geht seit 2005 umgekehrt den sichtbaren Spuren der Schweiz in den USA nach - die Schweiz als Land der ausgewanderten Vorfahren, aber auch als Garant von Qualität und als Kulisse für Heimweh und Sehnsucht zurück nach kleinräumiger Geborgenheit.

Die Gegenüberstellung der beiden Länder in 75 Bildpaaren bewirkt ein doppeltes Wechselspiel zwischen Fern- und Heimweh, Aufbruch und Rückbesinnung - veröffentlicht in diesem Buch.
